Jeannine B. Hall

In addition to being a Rapid Change instructor, Jeannine Hall works with leadership assessments on EQ (Emotional Intelligence).  She has noticed how the increased stress on leaders is resulting in greater reactivity of the Reptilian brain.
Jeannine cited the research from EQ expert, Daniel Goleman, who found that EQ impacted performance twice as much as technical expertise or IQ.

“So often leaders are experts in complex solution-based mental analysis.  Now, there’s a whole new level of emotional complexity to navigate.  Leaders have to both stand firm in their direction, as well as demonstrate empathy through listening.  Leaders are generally good at either/or.”

Jeannine has over 25 years of professional experience in the areas of human development, education, corporate training and business operations.  She completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Ecology at the University of Minnesota and operated a successful private psychotherapy and consulting practice for 16 years. She relocated to Seattle in 1996 and received her Masters Degree in Applied Behavioral Science at the Leadership Institute of Seattle, Basytr University.  During the past 10 years, Jeannine’s work has included teaching career development coursework at the college level and consulting in the areas of change management, emotional intelligence and career development.

As an Addictions specialist, she designed and delivered curriculum to empower people with alternative methods of processing their emotions, rather than to "stuff" their emotions with addictive substances.  As a career coach, she helped people understand the job market and to re-think their skills, strengths, interests, and experience to capitalize on opportunities.
